I wanted gaboon’s to provide seating and to demarcate an area for a fire pit.
Ordering was straightforward and instructions were helpful. The photos and comments also helped to inspire us to use a different materials.
We decided to use broken up concrete slabs to make a contemporary “stone wall”.
We have finished our gabion wall! Five baskets in total, one a slightly shorter size now topped with wood to form a bench seat.
The helical coils make assembly very easy, but gloves are recommended throughout the construction and filling process. We chose the 4.5 mesh as advised and also used the tensioning wire provided just to keep things square.
It couldn’t have worked out better! I am delighted.
Excellent communication and customer service. We had a bank that needed reinforcement and had been quoted by serval builders. With the help of this company and the videos / tutorials we were able to complete the work ourselves. We are very happy with the results.

Strong, good looking gabions with no bulging. I used 4.5mm wire mesh and created a drystone wall effect on the front face using sandstone I already had from earlier demolition/building projects..

Very helpful staff, Gemma online and Wojtek at the depot when I collected mine.
We are only doing a small project, removing large rocks that are supporting higher ground but have gradually moved and slid out of alignment with heavy rain etc. These will be replaced with the 5 gabions I have purchased. Website so helpful with how to use the gabions on different projects. Gemma and David returned all my emails promptly with quotes and helpful advice eg how much rock would be needed to fill the gabians and what size mesh I would need for my project. I also liked the helpful reminder email that was sent a couple of days later asking if I needed any more information. I would much rather deal with a family company that gives personal service, it does make all the difference. My gabians arrived even before I had received the email to inform me they were on the way! I would not hesitate to use this company again.
